The Art a la Carte concert on Friday, September 14th will feature Cash Hollistah and a DJ. Concerts are held atRobertCaldwellPlaza, between theCity-CountyBuilding and the Salina Public Library. The half-hour performances begin at 12:20 p.m. each Friday through October 12th.
Hollistah will present hip-hop in basic form, using two turntables and a microphone.? He? plans a lively, energetic show with crowd participation. Performing with a DJ, he will present a mixture of up-tempo and thought-provoking material, with a little spoken word for good measure.? Hollistah also will debut material from his forthcoming EP, ?#savednotsoft.?
Concertgoers are invited to bring a brown bag or purchase a lunch at one of many downtown restaurants.
In case of inclement weather, the performances will be held at The Stiefel Theatre for the Performing Arts, 151S. Santa Fe. Art a la Carte is a project of Salina Arts and Humanities, a department of the City ofSalina.
